What is the difference between the two?  Is hope less than faith?  Faith begins when the Word of God creates within you a vision or an awareness that ” I can have that….God promised me that.”  The key to faith is just to believe God’s promises.  The Word of God is created to be engrafted into our spirit which causes our spirit to come alive.  Hope is produced when you hear something based on knowledge.  God’s hope is built on the knowledge of Who He is…spoken to us by Himself by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. (1) You have to hear what God promises you.  This begins to create in your mind an image (an ability to have faith).  When faith is created a testing of that faith comes. (2) Then you have to receive it as fact. (He obligates Himself to bring it to pass).

Many people miss it because they say they believe God can do something (or anything) and this is hope not faith.  If there is no substance when the circumstances come…they will stagger in unbelief.  But if they take the spiritual hope of God’s Word and stand on it in the midst of testing….considering this (the Word)…they will not be weak in faith but strong….they now have substance!  Faith and patience will win the victory!  Instead of staggering, teeter tottering in unbelief….I choose to be fully persuaded!  Fully persuaded of what?  Of what God has promised….God will perform…God will do it!  When I stand in faith….God will do it for me!!!!!
