Spirit as Promised 10/29/2017

This sermon is a reference to the infillment of the Holy Spirit or the experience of the baptism in the Holy Ghot.  The new birth is a gift and the infillment is a promise.  God will give you as much as you want.  God desires to demonstrate His power outside the church walls.  It is time for the church to step up!  We cannot see ourselves like Jesus (in ministry), He was a man anointed of God by the Holy Ghost.  We don’t see Jesus as being like us.  Jesus did nothing until this experience at age 30 in the spirit.  Picture yourself as a spirit living in a natural, physical body.  We are eternal and His likeness, He lives in us!  The evidence of this infillment is speaking in tongues.  It is a lie that you must wait for the Holy Ghost to speak through you.  God will give you the utterance and you must then yield your will and your tongue to Him.  It is either a (1) walk by faith, or (2)pray in the Holy Ghost.  The Word and the Spirit agree.  Need to desire this and discern it.  Stop thinking naturally and think spiritually.  God will do amazing things beyond your comprehension.  When you speak in tongues God hears you and knows what you are saying..even if your logic, mind, and intellect do not!  1 Corinthians 14:13 you can pray to interpret.

Faith Matures Then Receives Radio #15 04/07/2013

This sermon shares the two sides of faith.  In Mark 11 you can command your mountain to be removed.  You exercise authority over the enemy, because you have dominion in the name of Jesus.  The other side is you request prayerfully of the Father, you never demand or command Him.  The Greek imperative is shown in vs. 23 in Christ you are the superior and satan is inferior.  However, in vs. 24 you are the inferior and God is the superior, so the approach is different.  Romans 4 describes the experience of our “father of faith.”  Abraham’s story is told in Genesis chapters 12-16.

The life of faith is a struggle to walk out.  Faith is matured and purified in the testing.  Sometimes we try to work it out ourselves.  Even if God has promised something if it doesn’ t happen on our timetable we are wavering.  But God never changes His mind.  He will work you over in the spirit.  Circumstances will seem to squeeze you.  We try to approach life from the natural and forget that it is a spiritual journey.  When we are obedient God is able to move on our behalf.

Work With His Power

This sermon examines further the two spiritual experiences. The born again experience in Eph. 2:8 is not of you (Greek) it is the gift of God!  In this experience you receive the gift that was bought by Jesus in your redemption.  You receive the Holy Ghost as the worker in your life.  In the baptism in the Holy Ghost you ask Jesus to baptize you with the Holy Ghost (Person), it is a transferrence of power and He lays His hands on you and your life radically changes.  Just as Jesus did normal life up until His baptism and grew in wisdom/knowledge/favor and then He was launched out to do the works of God and His fame went out and multitudes were drawn to His ministry/teaching.  He desires to launch you out in His power for ministry so He can demonstrate and manifest His glory and power just as we observe in the ministry of Jesus the man anointed of the Holy Ghost (Acts 10:38).  We have been commanded and given the great commission as seen in Mark 16 and Matthew 28.  We are to be witnesses as referenced in Acts 1:8. God’s plan, His divine will has not changed!

You receive a measure of the same power that was on Jesus (without measure), upon you to do the works of God.  God wants to endue you individually with power from on high to represent Him in this world as His ambassador.  You are to be His witnesses to the world, you are to work spiritually harvest with His power!  This promise (Acts 2:38) is to every person who has accepted Jesus as Savior…it is for you!  In the Greek this promise is a declarative sentence, a statement of truth….and with the implication of the obligation to bring to pass!

Spirit Upon Intro.

http://https://youtu.be/91ZAGrz_YOg

This sermon introduced the experience of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.  The new birth is a gift and this experience is a promise. John the forerunner of Jesus told us in Jn. 1:33 that it is Jesus who baptizes us with the Holy Ghost.  John 1:36 Behold the Lamb of God who takes away your sin.  Acts 1:2,4,5 was the command to wait for the Promise of the Father, to be baptized with the Holy Spirit, recieving an enduemnt of power to be witnesses (Acts 1:8).

(1) In the new birth the sin nature is removed and you are equipped to walk in newness of life (partaker of the divine nature) through the Word ( 2 Peter 1:3,4).  (2) God introduces His power to us in this experience and witnesses Himself as God.  Walking out the anointing in the new birth is by faith.  Faith is grown by planting the seed (Lu. 8:11) and it begins a natural process.  In the second experience God hooks up with you and demonstrates His power to you and through you to others.

1 Corinthians 14…God chose you and ordains you for a purpose.  Begin to build yourself in the spirit.  Pray in the spirit….constructs your spirit man to live responsible and be effective.

Resurrection Message 04/02/2013

This sermon draws your attention to the message of Easter/Resurrection.  Jesus was the Seed of God and recognized that it was necessary for Him to be planted in the ground and die in order to produce life.  He was the fulfillment of the prophecy in Gen. 3:15…the seed to bruise Satan’s head.  Satan had come into the delightsome Garden of Eden, that inhabited the presence of God and caused the one that was created with the image/likeness of God to fall…what a celebration…and stole his authority.  Satan then was seated as the god of this world and the prince of the power of the air until the advent of Jesus, the incarnate seed of God placed in a woman’s womb.  Mary’s womb gave the Seed of God flesh and in Jn. 1:1,14 the Word of God became flesh and dwelt among us!

God’s power made religion nervous when it was manifested through Jesus’ ministry and multitudes were drawn to Him.  Religion knew that something must be done about this and the plan of God was put into motion.

Spiritual separation entered and Jesus was placed in hell in the presence of satan and all of his cohorts.  Just as satan entered the Garden of God and stole man’s dominion, God now seemingly gives His Son to the power of the prince of the air.  But then the power of God came upon Jesus and circumcised/stripped the nature of sin/death from Him and He was resurrected up as that Seed that bruised satan’s head and brought him to nothing.  Christ the wisdom/power of God stripped satan of all of his dominion/authority right in his very own kingdom!

Jesus was the first begotten from the dead….born again by the power of the Holy Spirit.  He has removed the nature of sin and death from us by His very own blood and given us back the keys through His mighty name.  We are once again kings and priests unto God as we are born of God and His seed remains in us!  We are resurrected in our spirits to walk in His divine nature and can live in victory every day of our life!

The Anointing Upon Introduction

http://https://youtu.be/KFxaVeDwvHo

This sermon shares there are different views and angles to the subject of the anointing upon.  It shows the purpose and calling of God ordained for us… to do the works of God.  If it was necessary for Jesus to operate in the power of God in ministry than it also for us.  God told satan in his face in Gen. 3:15 that he would be brought to nothing by the Seed of a woman.  Lucifer had been kicked out of heaven but then operated as the god of this world and the prince of the air through Adam’s dominion and authority given by God.  Soon after Jesus was baptized in water and filled with the Spirit he had the encounter with satan to tempt Him.  It was necessary for Jesus to defeat him so that we can walk out our lives in the anointing power of God by reminding him as Jesus did, “It is written!”  Jesus was anointed as a man to do the works of God and multitudes were drawn to His ministry and message.  We are anointed to do these works to minister to those who have been dominated and oppressed by him and to show the power of God!  If satan recognizes this anointing we need to step up, step out, and move in it, also!

The Trying of Our Faith

“The good fight of faith” is stirred up by spiritual activity when we speak the Word of God and remove our mountains (hindrances).  In James 1:2,3  the trying of our faith is to (1)consider and understand our enemy will come in to attack your faith, and (2) we count it all joy because patience works in our lives and this is the word endurance in the Greek.  We will be able to stay the same before, during, and after the test.  We are purified like a precious metal and refined into maturity.

Faith grows by hearing and hearing the Word of God.  Faith matures when tested.  When circumstances enter  your life don’t take it personal.  The enemy is doing what he is supposed to do…John 10:10 he is coming to steal the Word which is your victory!  Our victory is claiming and walking (the just shall live by faith) in the precious promises of God’s Word.  No, circumstances cannot be “prayed away.”  But you can stand and resist the devil and he will flee from you, then submit to God and His Word and walk in that victory!

Faith Released (03/13/2013)

Faith is the substance of what is hoped for.    What do I do if I do not have faith in an area?  This sermon was taken from Mark 4:26-29, you must plant the seed you need.  It will come even if we don’t understand how.  Faith has to have works.  Faith alone is not enough.  This faith that has been created in our spirit by the planting of God’s Word must be released by speaking words.  What words?  Words that are filled with the faith of God (Mk. 11:22-24; Mt. 21:18-22).  The word mountain in Greek is referring to any hinderance.  We are commanded to speak to the mountains in our lives by faith.  Our faith cannot operate if we waver or doubt.  Faith has two steps.

(1) Faith is to remove hinderances   (2) Faith is to call things to exist that do not exist.

How do we release our faith?  By releasing the faith that is built on the promises of God’s Word through our words.

Power to Be Witnesses (10/09/2016)

http://https://youtu.be/19Y9Ag6wGUQ

God is spirt and we are created in His image.  We crave the supernatural.  There is no limit to where we can go in the realm of the spirit.

Do I have to speak in tongues? Tongues is the evidence of this experience.  We can have measures of power on us for the purpose of witnessing.  Praying in tongues is praying back His purpose and then He fixes His mind on us and builds His presence.  He can enlarge Himself which will magnify God and His plans/purposes above your circumstances.  We are commanded to speak in tongues.  The Holy Spirit is the plug for the power.  Speaking in tongues keeps us connected to the Power Source!
