Faith=Measure 01/07/2018

This sermon continues on the subject of faith taken from Rom. 10:8-10.  How does faith operate?  Where does faith come from?  How do I know I have faith?  Rom. 10:17 faith comes by hearing and hearing from the Word of God.  You have to sow the seed of God’s Word into your spirit.  It is a matter of deposit/withdrawal; supply/demand.  The measure of faith you have available is equal to the measure you have deposited.  You cannot withdraw what you do not have.  However, your amount can increase.  Faith comes by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth.  Faith speaks what it believes! You need to see yourself in Christ, in the anointing.  You have God inside.  Wherever you go you take God with you.  He resides and lives in you by the Spirit.  When  you show up with God inside the potential for Him to manifest His power, anointing, and glory is present!  Luke 24:49 Jesus promised He would give you (disciples) the same power or enduement from on high, Acts 1:8 the Holy Ghost came upon them and to do what?  Luke 4:18 in the story of Luke 5:17 Jesus was there with the anointing of the Holy Ghost and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth (the man anointed of the Holy Ghost) and with power; who went about (outside church walls) doing good and healing all who were oppressed and dominated by the devil.  How God manifests is somewhat up to you to believe the potential residing inside you and to act like you believe it and walk in faith to do the works of God…be the will of God in action!

Resolve: Be bold

This sermon is taken from Mt.9./the setting was a crowd of religious scholars in a house meeting.  A paralytic was let down through the roof. Lu.  5:17 “and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.” Jesus said to the man, “Be of good cheer.” In the Greek this means: resolve in your own self- purpose what you want and be bold in the face of circumstances.  Be courageous– resolve in keeping your purpose in the faith of God.  What are you standing on ?  Stand  courageously and boldly on the Word of God, do not waver with reason.  May your heart say, ” Let it be according to Your Word,” and He will answer, “Let it be according to your faith!”  When we renew our minds with the Word, the confessions of our mouth will be what we believe and the meditations of our heart will be acceptable to Him.

Jesus was our example in life and ministry.  He only moved two ways, either by the manifestations of the Spirit or by the pull of faith.  We need to build ourselves up in the Holy Ghost (Jude 20) and renew our minds in the Word as what work we are to be doing (Luke 4:18) and walk as the will of God in action with the duamis power of God confirming the Word.  We need to say (talk) what God says and do what His Word says do (walk)…talk the walk and walk the talk!  The religious folk in that house were not happy with Jesus and accused Him of blasephemy. James 1: 21,22: receive the Word which is able to save your souls and be a doer of the Word and not just a hearer only, deceiving your own selves.  The “saving of your soul” does not refer to your spiritual destination but speaks to walking in the spirit 24/7 showing the manifest presence of power of God because He lives in you by the Spirit.

Yoked With Rest (11/12/2017)

This sermon takes the pressure off working for God.  The text was in Luke 10 and Matthew 11:28.  Jesus took common and ordinary men and sent them out to work for God.  He sent them where He was going to come.  We have been sowing the Word and expecting a harvest.    The work of the anointing does not wait for a board to be formed or committees to be set or even an up and down vote! Thinking in terms of gardening, what good is it to plow the ground and prepare to plant and leave the seed on the shelf?  Where would the expectation of harvest be?  We show up at church, dress, talk, sing, drive nice and even put money in the offering but is this God’s plan to do the work of the ministry?  The harvest isn’t coming to church…we need to go put the seed out and then God can back up His Word and confirm it!  It is not up to us to demonstrate, perform or make something happen!  We are to simply come together in one accord and prepare a habitation of the spirit and then go out with power from on high and bring the people in where God can demonstrate and give expression to His nature.  The yoke is easy and the burden is light when we rest in God’s provision of plan/purpose/power!

Not Being as Being 03/08/2015

This sermon picks up the subject of faith taken from the text of Romans 4:17.  God said, “I have made” in the Greek means to cause to undergo a change.  How many times we get in with God and we want to do it our way.  What about God’s way?  Abraham the father of our faith had to undergo a change in experiences and in conditions in order to position him for the plan of God.  The word believe in the Greek means to consider something to be true.  The hearer of the Word is not blest…it is the doer.  So many churches are being pumped up in the truth but they are not putting leg work to the works of Christ (Luke 4:18).  God calls those things that are not being as being.  Choose to condition yourself in faith!  We need to get a hold of the faith of God and not what we think faith is.  Believe these things which He said shall come to pass; whatever God says will be!

There is a process to faith, a conditioning to faith.  Are you going to believe God’s Word or man’s word?  You can be strong in faith, giving glory to God= being fully persuaded or convinced.  Luke 4:18  The Spirit of the Lord is upon you.  What are you doing with the works of Christ?  Waiting on the Pastor to do it?  I am waiting on you. God is waiting on us.  He is going to begin to interrupt your life because you are the anointed of God and commissioned ambassador of good news!

Radio #16 Faith is Based on the Promises of God’s Word

This sermon is about how God put His promises in the Word for you and they are “Yes, and Amen.”  In the Greek the word Amen means “Truly I am going to show you My glory!”  (2 Corinthians 1:20).  God’s Word/promises produce hope where there is no other hope.  Luke 8:11 The seed is the Word of God.  Romans 4:17 God said, “so shall thy seed be…in this manner, through your (Abraham) seed (Christ) all nations shall be blessed.  Abraham’s seed is people of faith.  What manner?  The manner of faith.   In Hebrews 6:13 when God made promise to Abraham, He could swear by none greater than Himself.  He has given us His Word and His name.  There is no one greater than God.  God says I will back it up and make it good, if My Word is no good than I am no good.  There are two unchangeable things with God, He never changes and He will not change His obligation to keep His Word.  The second is God does not lie!

God put His seed into the earth, His Word, clothed in with flesh….named Jesus Christ.  He was full of grace and truth. God revealed His glory by keeping the promise of the Savior. God said your seed shall be a seed after faith.  I will bless them beyond measure.  Bless carries the word grace and everything we receive comes through this blessing.  No more discussion, God said it, I believe it, it shall come to pass!  It begins in the realm of the spirit first and then rolls over over into the natural, spiritual hope turns into faith.

Are You Being Sifted?

God wants to manifest, demonstrate, and put on His show do draw all eyes of the region on Himself.  But He needs a body! There is a spiritual sifting experience that comes alongside the dumanis power of God.  This is where we have lost a lot of people, even pastors, because they did not understand this was part of the process.  It was shown in this sermon through Simon Peter.  No one is exempt from this type of testing. (Lu. 22: 25-31), cited the case of Job.  This temptation is to present struggles in your life to deter you from Luke 4:18.  We are the only part of God’s creation that was formed and made by His dumanis power, we have that same power in us and upon us!   The sifting process is used in harvesting wheat:  it is tossed up, shake it and sift it, the pure remains.

God let the devil in on Genesis 3:15, the Messianic promise that told of his demise.  Interesting thought:  the devil has faith and stands on God’s Word to put forth his case and demand the moment of time he has been granted to sift.  The purpose of this sifting is to change our course.   He is only permitted to our soul (mind, will, emotions) to do what he does, create imaginations that challenge God’s Word so that we do not walk with the mind of Christ (2 Cor. 10:4).  If you don’t bring these thoughts into captivity they will make you captive and separate you from the power of the Word of God.  When you are being sifted, know this, God says: “I have not changed My mind!  What I have called and placed within you has not changed!”

God Became Man Dec. 2015

This sermon shared the celebration of Christmas when God transcended into our realm through a virgin birth.  An angel appeared to Mary and Joseph to announce this miraculous event.  Mary said, “Be it unto me according to thy word.”  This was the Word spoken to her by the power of the Holy Ghost, she spoke it back in faith.  When she received what was spoken to her by faith the Seed was conceived in her womb!”  Jesus came to become sin so that man could be redeemed and be made the righteousness of God.  Jesus wasn’t born into the natural because He existed before this.  Philippians 2 tells us He laid aside His glory and He took on flesh.  There was a transfer of the glory of God into Mary’s womb.  Luke 8:11 the seed is the Word of God.  1 Jn.3:9 we become the seed of God.  We, too can bruise satan’s head now and no longer have to be “tripped up” by him., Gen. 3:15.  Jesus came as a man to die for me on the cross and be the first begotten from the dead, the first fruit, so He could be planted into the ground to bring forth much fruit!

Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible. In the Greek it reads, For God nothing is impossible… for nothing is impossible of every spoken Word of God by faith.  Every spoken Word of God will come to pass, it is not impossible.  This is faith…it will come to pass!

Joel’s Experience Today (11/26/2017)

This sermon reference is in Joel 2:23-32 and mentions the former and latter rain.  God says,” Be glad and praise Me.”  Live by the anointing of God sealed inside of you.  Feed your spirit on the Word of God.  How hungry are you?  “I will feed you  and you will praise My name.  I have dealt wonderfully with you.  You will not be ashamed, I have your back.  I will confirm you with signs and wonders on the heels of My Word and your worship.”

The former rain is drenching yourself in the Word of God, the knowledge and understanding of it making you a partaker of His divine nature. Verse 24 the wheat represents this feeding of your spirit with the Word of God. Then you will have an overflow of wine and oil= joy.  This represents the oil of the Holy Spirit and the ability to live victoriously.  He promises to pour out His Spirit on all flesh.  Prepare yourself for the glory.  Make Him a habitation of the spirit, a habitation of praise for Him to dwell in.

Daniel stood on the scriptures he found reading/meditating in Jeremiah and began to supplicate this before God for the freedom of Israel from the bondage of Babylon.  We are standing on Joel’s scriptures and supplicating that God will pour out His Spirit that there will be a move of the Holy Spirit in sozo (salvation, healing, deliverance).  We desire the fruit of spiritual harvest!

Faith is Based on God’s Promises – Radio #16

This sermon reminds us that in 2 Corinthians 1:20 the promises of God are “Yes and Amen!”  They are acceptable and true.  However, each one of us must receive them by faith and appropriate them personally.  There are two kinds of hope, a natural hope and a spiritual hope.  We have been taught that God sometimes says, “Yes, No, or Wait a while (maybe)?”  But this is not true.   God’s Word gives us a spiritual hope, the promises of God’s Word bring hope when we have no hope.

We learned about Abraham in Romans chapter 14 and his struggle for 24 years.  God said to him, “After this manner, so shall your seed be.”  What manner?  The manner of faith.  God’s true people are people of faith who will stand on the promises of God and believe contrary to all circumstances!  God told Abraham, “Through your seed Christ shall come.”  Abraham’s natural hope turned to spiritual hope when he based it on God’s promise to him.  God’s promise began to rise up in his heart and produced an unshakeable faith.  God’s Word can bring hope to your circumstances!

When we truly believe God’s Word and its promise to us we will stop asking and start thanking!   Hebrews 6:13  God swore…like a handshake.  God said He could swear by none greater than Himself.  It is just like it used to be when your word was equal to your worth.  God says in effect, “If My Word is no good, than I am no good!”  Do we dare stand in His face and tell Him He is not big enough to keep His Word…or do we thank Him that He is moving on our behalf?  It takes a season, faith takes time to grow.

God wants to show us that He is the one constant in your life.

A Heart of Ministry

This sermon text in Matthew 10:28-30 shows how Jesus the man (anointed by the Holy Ghost) exhorts us to come unto Him.  He calls us into labor but not a natural one.  We are all yoked to something and we all labor at something in life.  Is. 10:27 is another reference to this.  It is God’s desire that we labor in the spiritual harvest He has commissioned us to and to lay down our own labors, i.e. exchange that burden for something else.  When we yoke with Him in the anointing-  ministry is easy!

The story is told of Jesus and John the Baptist (his cousin) and the training of the disciples to go out.  We need to seek to work in the anointing and have the heart of ministry, the motive to harvest this region.  Don’t get so wrapped up in life that you can’t see the big picture.  Even Jesus had an “aha”  moment when He recognized His purpose.  Believers have been called, chosen, and ordained for this purpose.  The anointing of the baptism of the Holy Ghost is for the works of this spiritual labor. It will require a different measure of anointing.
