Say What? Enlightened, Empowered, Wellness 02/16/2018

Powerful show that speaks to the subject of addiction/recovery.  Does the Bible or God have anything to say about this?  Yes!  Romans 7:15-25 from the Living Bible is the conversation of an educated man on dealing with cycles that needed broken in life.   We tell children, “The Bible is God speaking to you!” 2,000 years later it still speaks to the human experience!  When you are born again you are not exempt from the suffering and struggles of your issues, even addictions.  It is necessary to know that you have had a nature change and you now have a seed of God (His DNA) in your spirit to give you the ability to walk out your victory.  However, that walk is different for each individual.  There needs to be an awakening and a moment to admit there is a problem, accept and acknowledge there could be a solution, apply an application of God’s Word to the situation (work) and then follow through to walk out the accountability.  The good news is there can be a place of wellness attained and a victory maintained.  God can take what you turn over to Him and repurpose it, there is no such thing as a “throwaway life.”

Say What? God’s Got Your Back 02/16/2018

This show responded to the events of the school shooting in Fla.  Opened with Ezekiel 22:31 and closed with Isaiah 58:8.  Why is our country in such a mess?  There are many answers but I believe the Church has become inverted.  There is a disconnect with our communities.  What about the Great Commission? There has been great omission because we have not taken our place in response to the spiritual activity in the heavenlies.  We were told to occupy until the Lord comes again.  What does that look like?  Our power lies in our spiritual identity.  We look too much like a big charity or a government program and neglect our true identification.   Our power is the fact that we are a spiritual body created, formed and purposed to do spiritual work.  We are to hold the region we have placed in by our dominion and authority.  How much authority does the church have?  Where do they fit in?  There are individuals called and given a certain amount of dominion just as Adam/Eve had in the garden to “dress and keep”, this was their work.  We have been made kings and priests(Rev.  1:6) to dress and keep the regions we have been placed in through the name of Jesus and this is our true work and delegated activity!

  • When we truly take supplication and intercession seriously and we begin to plead our place… we can be that person that stands in the gap.
  • We can be that person that pushes the darkness back
  • We can be that person that allows the anointing of God to come and bring deliverance
  • We can be that person that invites the glory of the Lord to break forth, our healing shall spring forth (speedily), our righteousness shall go before us, and the glory of the Lord shall be our rearguard….in other words…..God’s got our back!!!!!!

05/29/2017 Say What- Now that you have inhaled….where’s the exhale?

This episode picked up talking about the supernatural, people crave this! “Speaking in tongues is the doorway into the supernatural.”  We were created with a spirit to be a container…we must breathe in (inhale) to receive the life/nature/breath of God, His indwelling presence by the Spirit.  If there’s an inhale is there an “exhale” experience, also?  Jesus had one. He is our example in life and ministry.  Luke 4:18 He was in the synagogue (our church) as was His custom or habit….something was different when He spoke this time?  There was an empowerment.  For 30 years He had grown in wisdom, knowledge, and favor with God and man.  What was different after the Holy Spirit came upon Him?  He was clothed in the garment of the anointing of God!  When you start your day with devotional reading of the Word that is feeding your spirit like breakfast feeds your natural body.   Eph. 5:18 says be filled with the Spirit, in the Greek it is be being filled! This releases your spirit to exercise its muscle and also ignites the Word of God in your spirit!  If we could learn to enjoy this intoxication in the  Spirit it would effectively detox the natural stuff that clogs the flow of the supernatural.  Magnify and enlarge God in your life and be a blessing!

Did You Receive the Holy Spirit? Say What 05/22/2015

This show answered the question,”Where does the Holy Spirit fit into the experiences of the new birth and the Holy Ghost baptism?”  Acts 19:1-7 they had not even heard that there be a Holy Spirit.  Sad to say this is the condition of a weak church today.  We have allowed fanaticism and wrong teaching, even teaching that the evidence of tongues of of the devil to discourage us from proper introduction to the Spirit of God.  In the new birth you receive Jesus as Savior and the work of the Holy Ghost.  In the baptism of the Holy Spirit, Jesus baptizes you with the Holy Ghost and you receive His person.  In Acts 10 Peter preached a sermon and the Holy Ghost fell and Gentiles received Him (proselytes).  We believe in the doctrine of the Trinity…not 3 gods but One True God manifested in 3 persons.  Since God is eternal He has no beginning and no end.  In the Old Testament we see God (in the past) in the New Testament (gospels) we see Jesus as the present ministry and in the Acts and epistles we see the Holy Spirit looking to the future.  In this age the Holy Spirit indwells us and comes upon us to make us witnesses of God’s power!

We must learn to walk by the Word or the renewing of the mind because that is what ignites the anointing inside of you.  That well of water should be springing up inside of you the very life of God.  Sometimes we think we cannot minister as Jesus did because He was the Son of God.  Jesus operated as a mere man anointed of the Holy Ghost.  (Luke 4:18; Acts 10:38)  If Jesus of Nazareth (man) needed this experience to endue Him with power in ministry why do we in the churh say we don’t find it necessary)?  Are we saying we are better than Jesus?  Acts 10:46 They heard them speak with tongues and magnify God.  The word magnify in the Greek means enlarge.  When we magnify God we allow Him to be enlarged beyond our own thoughts.  How about doing church God’s way?

Say What? Episode 6. 5/15/15 Our body hosts the Spirit of God

Discussion was made on what distinguishes our church from another.  The subject of spiritual circumcision was brought to the table. The question was posed as to why there were two experiences.  Baptism in the Holy Ghost is sometimes referred to as infillment.  Why isn’t one filled with the Spirit at the born again experience?  Why would God offer me something short of the full measure?  What happened, what did you receive?  What about tarrying?  What about those who don’t have the evidence of tongues or why don’t some receive, is there a disconnect?  When we share Jesus’ experience at water baptism it is sometimes asked, “What’s wrong with me, I didn’t receive the baptism of Holy Ghost when I was water baptized?”

There are different measures of anointing.  How much of God do you want?  Why do you want the power of God?  Why are some people instantly delivered and others struggle with flesh?  How was the Holy Ghost released in the early church and is it the same today?  What kind of experience can I expect?  If my victory is already inside of me why do I struggle?  Is it my fault, the devil’s or God teaching me something?  Jesus operated in a natural body with all of its limitations while on earth.  God wants to give expression of Himself to a lost and dying world, redeem them back and give them victory!  We can walk in this enduement of power everyday.  Spirit beings need to be hosted by a body to give expression.  We host the very Holy Spirit of God that created the whole universe, He lives in us!

Say What? Episode 5 (05/08/15)

This segment was answering the question: When Jesus suffered (God the Son) during the three days of Easter….did the whole Trinity suffer?  The answer is God is spirit.  In the beginning was God.  He is and was and always will be.  There is a realm of the spirit and a realm of the natural.  Humankind was formed and created by God and the life/nature of God was breathed into his nostrils….spirit.  However, when Adam sinned spiritual death was introduced and man lost the nature of God and received the nature of sin and death.  Jn. 1:1,14 and Hebrews chapter 2 and chapter 4  It behooved Him so much, moved Him in the bowels of His spirit, God wanted to experience what we do to make a way of escape and to aid us in our time of need.  This could only be done through Genesis 3:15 which was the first Messianic promise.  Jesus as God in the flesh did this even to the point of physical death.  If God had never become a physical being He could never be touched with our physical pain.

When I am born as a human being am I born potentially spirt and natural?  Yes you are born spirit but contained in a natural physical body.  In order for spirits to be seen in this physical realm must take on a body.  God the Spirit took on flesh and His name was Jesus.  Jesus was the bodily form of God’s wisdom and power.  Now we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit in the new birth and we are encouraged to walk in the spirit.  God desires to fellowship with us in that eternity part of ourselves, our spirit.  We are to do the works that Jesus did, preach, teach, and heal and be God’s manifest presence on the earth today!

Two Judgement Seats — Say What 05/01/2015 Episode 4

This segment answers at least four questions that were posed.  There are two judgement seats in the Bible.  One is the White Throne Judgement which is the word thronos in the Greek: this is a seat of power/dominion where hell and death come up and those who are not born of the spirit will appear before.  The second one is the Judgement Seat of Christ and this is the Greek word bema which is a judicial seat.  This is where the Christian will be judged for their works?  Discussion is given on the works of gold, silver, wood, hay and stubble referenced in Scripture.  Christians are not judged on their sins but rather on what they have done with the nature of God inside of them and the works He has purposed and anointed them to do!  Death is not a mere cessation of life but rather there are two separations taught.  The first separation was introduced in the Garden of Eden and is the sin nature and the second separation is at the end: death (so maybe it could be said one is spiritual death and the other is physical death)?

(1) If my sins are forgiven and God remembers them no more, when I die and appear before God and His judgement seat what will I be judged for? (2) If a child dies, where will their eternity be? (3) If I am a good person and do good things then why would God be disappointed and judge me?  (4) If I am absent from the body and present with the Lord, will I be judged instantly or wait until the end of this world order?

Is God Powerless Without a Body (Church)? 04/24/17

This episode posed the question…God is all powerful..but not in carrying out His plans?  It comes to dominion/authority.  We can’t blame this on God.  Jesus redeemed us and was victorious when He brought satan to naught.  He then gave us the authority and the only way we can exercise dominion is through His name.  The problem comes when we expect God to do something He has given us to do.  Why should we attend church?  Just to sing a few songs, put in our offering, hear a sermon/prayer and go home to the same old thing.  The church is hindered when one part is withdrawn or absent.  Why?  There is a corporate anointing but also the fact that each of us has an anointing that makes us unique to God and together as a Body we are to manifest God and His plans and purposes in the earth.  God is transcendant..this is a big theological word.  He came to be like us so that we could be like Him!  This is where the body of Christ enters the scene and it is still the plan.  The purpose of the Church is to see God moving as He did through Jesus in His 3 yr. ministry.  God is no longer limited to a geographical, culture, or time span as it was then.  Now the Holy Spirit indwells every believer and the limits are off!

How Do We Pick a Church? Episode 2 /04/17/2017

This show asks the question, “How do I pick a church?  Heb. 10:22 tells us to not forsake the assembling of ourselves.  There seems to be a disconnect in our society with church.  Our generation grew up in church but what happened when we “grew up?”  Can you outgrow church?  Discussion was made on what church is and is not!  Church in the greek word ekklesia means a gathering or assembling of individuals and the Apostle Paul likened it to the description of a physical body in I Cor. 12.  When you are born again you are automatically a member of the body of Christ and you are a member of the family of God.  If God is our Father can we pick our family?   The greek word koinonia is an association of people for fellowship.  The words reference the church and the gathering of believers…it is about building people up not just a building.  It is about relationship and not just religion.  We encourage believers to walk in the spirit and to endeavor to plug in to a body of believers that we can become the habitation of God in the spirit as seen in Eph. 2:21,22.

Say What? Episode #2 April 10, 2015

Why should I go to church?  Will I go to heaven if I don’t? Discussion from different religious backgrounds.  Talking about the reality of church as the Body of Christ.  Does the Bible actually speak to my situations today?  Is is relevant?  How do I know the truth?
