It is necessary to have wisdom (knowledge applied) to be successful. Wisdom/power are in our spirit, but there are different ways to release it. It is not enough to just know what the Word of God says, you must also apply it and that requires wisdom. When Adam and Eve sinned it was more than just a disobedient act. Something spiritual happened. (1) they died spiritually (separated from God), (2) they received the nature of sin, (3) they lost their authority (satan took it). There are three kinds of wisdom referenced in 1 Cor. 2:1-5 (1) wisdom of God (2) wisdom of satan (3) wisdom of man. What is happening in our world today is not God’s doing. Satan established a kingdom in our authority. Jn. 10:10 reveals his agenda. God asked Adam,” Who told you that?” I ask who are you permitting to speak into your life? We need to examine the three kinds of wisdom and see what sort of application we would initiate in our life, this is our responsibility: not God’s. God can reveal Himself to you by the Holy Spirit through His Word and you can walk out the wisdom of God, which will effect all the other areas of your life. If we apply the Word of God we can walk this life out above every circumstance and situation that hits our life. We would find that the wisdom of God would bring wholeness, soundness, balance, and wellness while we are doing life!
Process and Redirect Doing Life 138 11/21/2018
Why do bad things happen to good people? My experience of cancer…how did this happen? (1) natural things that just happen b/c of natural realm and fallen world (2) cost of disobedience…walk outside covenant/protection (3) satanical attack b/c of faithfulness to God? God’s Word promises us a supernatural life in a fallen natural world. If you really want God invested in your life you have to invest into Him. Who will I let speak into my life to create the reality I am going to grab on to? What does God’s Word say, does it speak to this situation? Faith is a muscle and it is your responsibility to develop it and work it. You need to stay in the Word of God long enough for it to remain in you….then you can be invincible. Faith is what moves God!
Most Christians do not know that they are a spirit and are to walk out their life in the spirit. Jn. 6:63 My words are spirit and life. If you don’t spend time in the Word, you limit what He can quicken! 2 Cor. 4:4 Eph. 2:2 you are either walking in the Word or blinded to the image of who you really are. We are supposed to process our life through the realm of the spirit. Sometimes we miss God’s leading…we look for something spectacular when we already have the supernatural! We need to learn how to walk with Him the way He designed for us to!
Faith, Fact, Favor Doing Life 136 10/22/18
This episode examines some “f” words. Why does one person seeem to walk in more of the favor of God than another? I’ve been given a medical fact…what am I going to do with it? Facts are not to be denied. There are natural facts and spiritual facts. Fact: we live in a fallen world. God moves on the fact that He gave us His Word. Psalms 107:20; John 1:1, 14.. God transcended into our world through His Word (became flesh=Jesus). In Genesis 3:15 God promised satan He would send a seed to crush, bruise, and destroy him. 4,000 years later comes the seed. Luke 8:11. God kept His Word and brought it to pass.
Faith is really our favor in the realm of the spirit. We must consider the spiritual fact and with that faith create the reality that overrides the natural fact. God has given us a fact we need to appropriate it and access His will in our life through His Word. Faith, fact, and favor comes down to trusting God and His Word. The key to faith is to see God’s promise through His Word and know that He will do it for you! When it comes to pass you will have no doubt there is a God and you will see His glory!
Doing Life 135 Faith Works
We are commanded to have the God kind of faith. This faith is both a noun and a verb in that it must be active. In James it says that faith without works is dead. Sometimes folks feel like they have no faith or it is something that is now dead in their life because they don’t “feel God.” Faith must have works applied to keep it active. Faith is a creative process. Confession of faith or faith filled words create realities. The only way one can receive faith is through the Word of God. The Word of God deposits knowledge into your spirit. It is only when that knowledge is tapped and acted on or an application is made that it can grow and work. Some people “lose faith” when their faith is tested. There is another verse in Hebrews that states, “through faith and patience you inherit the promise.” (Heb. 6:12). If you are strong in faith and standing in it, you will stand in the face of the greatest storm and confess the Word of God no matter what….God does not lie and He does not change His mind. His Word is forever settled. Heaven and earth will pass away but His Word will never pass away! Faith is both passive and active! How? You have to commit your situation to God and be passive to trust Him to work it out but then you have to access His Word and activate your faith in it and not doubt, waver, or lose your confidence during the test. The enemy has permission to try your faith, it is his occupation and he is good at it. Our response should be an occupation with God’s Word so that we can walk out our faith in the power of the Spirit. If you can trust God, He will back you up with His strength and His peace. You will have the ability to walk it out in the face of adversity. Establish His faith in you and His glory will become a part of your life. You will sense His presence! Walk in the glory of God…work your faith! Yes, faith works!!!
Doing Life 137 Identity
What is your spiritual identity? Who do you associate with? Who do you allow to influence you? You are identified by what you say! Your words are a spiritual landmark and create the realities of your life. You will find that what you truly believe is what you will speak, say over and over again. Words are built on knowledge. Your spirit is developed by the knowledge of God which is found in His Word. We could say that how you think is based on what you believe which will be what you speak and act out. When life presses in on you- choose to identify with something greater- God! Know “whose you are.” Adjust who you are to Who He is and create the reality!
Doing Life #134 Inheritance
This episode began with Colossians 1:9-11 and 2 Peter 1:3 talking about we are partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, partakers of His divine nature. But how do we release this anointing or inheritance that is within us? It is released through God’s Word! God doesn’t move on opportunity, desperation, or just because you cry out to Him….there are principles to release the anointing just as there are principles in the power of electricity. How is it conducted from the realm of the spirit into the realm of the natural? How do I know there is a power I can’t see? How do I access a power that could make a change? You have to understand the principle and work it. You work your faith through the Word of God. This makes the power of God tangible and creates realities.
You Have an Inheritance/ Doing Life #133
This episode examined the facts of religion vs. relationship. People often pray for something they already have. It has been said, “Life is a mystery.” Colossians references the mystery of Christ. The Word of God can help us solve the mysteries of our life when we realize that we have Christ in us/ the wisdom and power of God to deal wisely in the affairs of life. God wants you to enjoy the natural and the spiritual realm. God has not stripped us, rather He has sealed us!
You can experience enlightenment which will enrich your life and enable you to be empowered!!! Satan wants to dupe you to who you are and what God has placed inside of you. We are partakers of His divine nature!
God’s DNA/ Doing Life 131
This episode looked at addictions/recovery and the process of dominating the struggle of life. Circumstances can squeeze the very life out of you and you ask the question:
- Does God have an answer for every problem? The truth is God has given us power.
- 2 Peter 1:3,4 This is according to something, what? God’s divine power.
- How do we access this help/power? Through the precious promises of His Word.
- Three things we are to know: (1) there is a God [with divine power] (2) He made provision [given us something] (3) know that I can obtain that knowledge [He has given me a new identification]
- Who is going to tell me? How will I get this knowledge?
- Whose responsibility? How can I walk out something I am not knowledgeable about?
We do not need to wander through life wondering and not knowing what to identify with. The issue then is will you be aimless or purposeful in your faith journey?
Doing Life/130 God Constructs the Church
This episode brought the text 1 Cor. 14 to the table again with further discussion of the public vs.private use of tongues as a means of prayer and the purpose thereof. The question was raised if this is a gift that God chooses some to have and others not? The answer is there is a difference between a devotional (private) tongue and a tongue used in public worship as a manifestation of the Spirit. Another question posed was is this the only way to birth or construct a church? If speaking in tongues is the door to the supernatural and God desires us to walk in this realm so that He can manifest or give expression through a body (church/individual), can we then assume it is necessary? The short answer is you can do anything in faith and that is produced through the new birth or born again experience and the renewed mind using the Word of God to direct but this is sometimes a lengthier process. Romans 8:26 is a reference that guides us in our prayer life and the will of God. Yes, God desires to construct His Church in the spirit according to His design and purpose.
Doing Life #111 3 Kinds of Wisdom (04/18/2018)
Have you ever found you lacked wisdom in the process of “doing life?” God said you can ask and He will give it to you. There are 3 kinds of wisdom found in 1 Cor. 2:5-. Sadly, we have limited ourselves to man’s wisdom. Satan’s wisdom is to keep us “duped” that he is defeated and not in authority. God’s wisdom is spiritual wisdom. When you are born again you experience a nature change and God deposits a measure of His wisdom/power in your spirit to be accessed at anytime. If you apply knowledge you get wisdom. God’s Word= wisdom. . The Word is the anointing in wisdom and the Spirit is the anointing in power. The Word and the Spirit agree and work together. Our world today is formed by man’s wisdom and enticing words and lacks the demonstration of God’s power. In fact, there is such a deficit of the supernatural that the world seeks it in reverse (a negative way) because it is absent from the church and not even believed or expected! But we will stir you up with this teaching and trust you will seek out God’s wisdom and walk in His power everyday of your life.
