Faith Matures Then Receives Radio #15 04/07/2013

This sermon shares the two sides of faith.  In Mark 11 you can command your mountain to be removed.  You exercise authority over the enemy, because you have dominion in the name of Jesus.  The other side is you request prayerfully of the Father, you never demand or command Him.  The Greek imperative is shown in vs. 23 in Christ you are the superior and satan is inferior.  However, in vs. 24 you are the inferior and God is the superior, so the approach is different.  Romans 4 describes the experience of our “father of faith.”  Abraham’s story is told in Genesis chapters 12-16.

The life of faith is a struggle to walk out.  Faith is matured and purified in the testing.  Sometimes we try to work it out ourselves.  Even if God has promised something if it doesn’ t happen on our timetable we are wavering.  But God never changes His mind.  He will work you over in the spirit.  Circumstances will seem to squeeze you.  We try to approach life from the natural and forget that it is a spiritual journey.  When we are obedient God is able to move on our behalf.
